If the glide fixes haven't been merged yet, then the Mupen64Plus-Next from the nightly should work. If it's allowed here, I can upload my personal modified version and its accompanying info file.
The latest N64 core update appears to have broken Yoshi's Story as well as a few other games. On my end, I resolved the issue by editing the pre-glide update Mupen64Plus core, which allowed me to launch the core as a separate entity from the Glide Mupen version. From there, I pointed my Yoshi's...
sx.xecuter.com, the main website and the subject of discussion here, is still down, so the assertion that "it's back up" only shifts the orientation of the argument and ignores the matter at hand.
I don't feel strongly one way or the other here, but it would seem that many of the pro-SX comments...
given the fact that you experienced random corruption, this sounds like an ExFAT-related issue to me. if you haven't already, reinstall your forwarder and your retroarch build onto a FAT32 SD card.
Most of Warren's old characters seem to work except for Homer, who causes a segfault when the game attempts to load him...
@rsn8887 Is there any way that I can tweak my settings to circumvent this issue? I've enclosed a screenshot of the error in the spoilered region below:
Thanks! I ended up commenting out the offending line in mugen.cfg to fix it, but that's good to know if I'll want to use motifs.
Have you had any success launching any other characters? I haven't been able to get judgespear/warren's homer working correctly yet
Does anyone using the latest GLide build have any recommended settings for Yoshi’s Story? Everything runs smoothly until I enter a level, at which point the game slows to about ~3 FPS.
I’ve turned off the framebuffer option to no avail, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem
Does anyone know where I could find the offsets/file locations of the game cursor border color and the game description font color? I'd like to change them from blue to another color.
Even if this isn't possible conventionally with the standard JSON-based or nxtheme patching methods, I'd still...
Yes, change the title_id parameter to the Title ID of the game through which you’ll enter the Homebrew Menu. Personally, I’d also change the override_key parameter to “R” so that I won’t immediately boot into the Homebrew Menu if I’d like to play the donor game.
Apologies for what might seem like a silly question, but which option would provide better performance? I’ve read conflicting reports and I’m looking for a definitive answer on the matter.
* Using an installed NSP forwarder that points to retroarch’s NRO
* Launching retroarch’s NRO via the...
Sorry for the late response, I first uninstalled Smash, then I downloaded the minimal package on SDFiles (ensure that you’ve checked the “enable sigpatches” option) and copied over the files from that installation to my SD Card. Finally, I reinstalled smash with the Ignore Firmware option using...
Which firmware are you currently using? I’m on 5.1.0 at the moment and I’m tempted to change my firmware to 6.x.x
Gotcha, thanks, I’ll use ReiNX until someone finds a solution, which might have to do with sigpatching in the end. Have you tried editing your hekate .ini file?
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
