    just of curiosity, there has been a squishi metal'ish cushion between emmc and shielding@motherboard. should that be coductive? after removing the emmc, i cleaned the area and used some isolation tape to make sure that there is no contact.

    thanks for your input. like you suggested, i checked the connector for bent or out of place pins. using a x8 magnifying glas, they look all fine. none bent / none out of place.
