    You can only update to 3.0 with a game cart, but it would be better not to update. I've seen some people on here restore their nand dumps, unless you update your switch you should be able to restore and use it. FAT32 only lets you use files that are 4GB or less, if you need to store bigger...

    Piracy has always existed, and it hasn't stopped publishers to release their games. Idk about other countries, but for pc gaming we've got http://shadow.tech in france, that is basically a netflix like platform for games.

    You can trim the backups, and you wouldn't need to actually install them, which is way more convenient than having to sign & install them

    They're selling one license per console, you can buy the OS alone in order to install it on multiple consoles.

    That's false, the OS has to be used with the dongle. You can't just buy the software and use it with FG.
