Well at least now i'll do it for sure xD At least using JKSM on my games before doing anything with my system. But i tend to be airheaded and i often forget to do it, i wonder if i can make a script to automatically backup everything and upload it somewhere.- Larenthios

That was in another partition that the first one, was it ? And i guess all hope is lost and i can remove the heavy file with the ID not matching, since i can't restore anything. (Little EDIT: if anyone happened to possess some Bravely Second file around chapter 5, could you export it with JKFS...- Larenthios

That's pretty sad :( However, this guide told me to do some backup with the .bin file. If i was to restore this NAND, would it be the "Original NAND" (it already went through step 1, 2 and 3 from this tutorial at this point) Well i don't really know if copying the SD card content in a file...- Larenthios

F*ck. But isn't the encryption on the names of the directories (With the <ID0>/<ID1> key pair)? And if they come from the same machine, decryption may not be a problem, is it ? I'll test it anyway, don't have anything to loose.- Larenthios

I have one but i'm not sure, however every save is in '/Nintendo 3DS/somefiles', i think i'll listen to KunoichiZ and try to reinstall and copy the save file from the pre-tutorial backup (not a restorable file one, sadly). Yes, i was doing nothing but following those two tutorials (here and here). I have some backups, however, but not of every partition, only of the root SD card directory you can access from your computer.- Larenthios

I don't have any idea on how to do this, otherwise i wouldn't ask here x) How can i go back to A9HL then ? Re installing it from scratch ? Now, when i try to boot with the old SD content, it powers on an off immediately, as it does when there is no SD card under B9S- Larenthios

I should just dump the old SD card content on it and use your script(s) to restore it, then ? Or will the dump supposedly work in itself and the script will just be to upgrade to B9H without any hitch ?- Larenthios

Yes, by overwriting that's what i meant Well i lost my data right after step 1-3 so there is no "Move EmuNAND" involved, i guess ? I don't really know why "A9HL to B9S" would do this, tho.- Larenthios

The "Nintendo 3DS" directory was overwritten, and i tried to put it again and boot the console, it didn't change a thing (still the same empty homescreen)- Larenthios
