Wow thank you so much MrJason! that's a really good explanation. im always a bit iffy about doing things when it comes to 3ds hacking, im scared i might do anything wrong and screw it all up. so that's why i want to be 100% sure everything will be fine before i get started. i'm gonna do it right...- Uchi

My sysnand is on version 7.2.0-4U and im currently using emunand 11.2.0-35 because thats as far as gateway goes for the moment. can you still access the system menu normally?- Uchi
