As for what @Xedict said about child hair color issues, I think I can provide a save for that as I think I'm experiencing the same issue. I'll upload it later when you get back.     It seems that the "Save Changes" button on the unit editor is broken, as it doesn't seem to save anything (or at least the changes don't show up; i.e. I edit a class of unit A, save, then look at Unit B and come back to Unit A, and the changes aren't there).

    If I modify a unit to have enemy-only skills and edit their trait flags and stuff, but never put that unit in a StreetPass team, expose them to any online battle, or update my data, will I still get shadowbanned?
