    So I've followed the tutorial step for step like its said, and every time I boot a forwarder CIA, it takes me to the rom selection menu (its all black tho). I have an R4i Gold RTS. I do have TWiLight Menu++ on BOTH my 3DS and flashcart. I don't understand.

    fastboot3ds replaces boot9strap, so you'd need to update Luma3DS and fastboot3ds instead.

    Nope. It won't replace luma on the NAND partition. Just install fastboot3ds using OpenFirmInstaller and your done
