    I only mounted the four wires needed. I initially mounted the GND where he had it but it would not hold, and after four attempts to solder it where he had it I just stuck it to the outside casing of the cartridge slot (metal). Would mounting the wires even matter though? I never even got to the...

    I attempted a hardmod following the video posted here: When I put my 3DS back together, before even getting to connect it to my PC I tried to turn on the console to no effect. Pressing the power button didn't do anything, connecting it to a power source does nothing as well, not even LEDs...
