I figured out priiloader (been a few years since I had to install any of this stuff) and I have it booting to snes9x. The person Im doing this for is mentally and physically disabled. So I have a raphnet nes to gamecube adapter and a quickshot joystick suction cupped to a wheelchair tray. Just...- magnitudeten

I am working on a special project for a disabled relative. I softmodded this wii with the goal of having snes9x boot straight up when the console is turned on, and then having snes9x autoload mario all stars + mario world. Homebrew Anyone have any experience with original controllers?
I have that same mayflash adapter as well, and I just tried to replicate what you're experiencing. Same game, same emulator, I even happened to have a super famicom controller lol. I also tried switching out my regular wii mote for a wii mote with motion plus... in case that was your issue...- magnitudeten

It's a shame too because with the db9 raphnet adapter the wii plays sega sg1000, master system, game gear, genesis, and sega cd games not to mention the atari 2600 and 7800 all using the real controllers... and it works SOOO well. All without the need for the add ons and the three power bricks...- magnitudeten

I've tried every msu pack that I could get my hands on and they all boot up and run just fine. With two exceptions... Flashback msu, just starts with a black screen and does nothing. That could be down to the way it was patched as I couldn't find an ips or an alternate version for this one...- magnitudeten

Loading save states seems to break msu functionality. It'll load with no music and when its time to load a new song it reverts to the snes spc. At least thats what super metroid did.- magnitudeten

Yeah you're right just doing the conversions proper makes a lot more sense. Even if a patch doesn't exist you can just manually adjust the pcm files in audacity anyways I assume.- magnitudeten

Well I got all my roms from a certain redacted thread where they were all predone for me. So that very well might be the case. A lot of the music in a bunch of the games is much louder in the balance than it should be and drowns out sound effects. Would a msu volume adjuster in the emulator...- magnitudeten

Thanks again for the mod work qwertymodo. When it works and isnt freezing, it works phenominally well. Not all that much crackling in the audio overall... some games appear to have none, but some games are worse than others it seems. - Hong Kong 97 works great. Some light crackling. - Super Mario Odyssey. Instead of freezing like most games just loads with no music. spc or msu. -Super Mario World. Exact same thing with me, I've tried Donkey Kong Country 2 and all the Megaman X mods. No go. It does however run normal games like the old emulator did if that's of any help... I also keep trying to compile that source code from the older version and I just can't figure it out, I have ZERO...- magnitudeten
