Hacking TX Releases SX OS v2.9.4 Beta - Now Supports v9.2.0 Firmware

I like your optimism, but a vast majority of knowledgeable devs in this scene treat TX and SX OX like they curb stomped their first born child. That means the people willing to help TX are likely going to be the ones who don't have to know how to add features that they want to the CFW.

Hacking TX Releases SX OS v2.9.4 Beta - Now Supports v9.2.0 Firmware

Be honest with me, even if SX OS was open source how many people in this scene do you think would actually contribute to it? TX has literally nothing to gain from open sourcing their software

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

Look man, Imma back down from this, but I do know it happened. You can look at Atmo's releases and see where he fixed issues with the bis_protect stuff. It's the same bug that caused TX's issues with SX OS 2.9 and updating. After all, it's just a rebranded Atmosphere.

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

Thats literally what I said isn't it? I wonder how bad you could mess something up if you tried to do something to a system without checking if you could do that thing? Or worse, Imagine trying to start a system update, but only being able to write a small portion of the update files. Like, I...

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

maybe not in my first post, but 100% I did in my second. As far as the second point goes, I doubt you'll listen to me even if I was able to recreate it, but the fact is, ChoiNX literally updated to 1.0.2 to add bis_checks and further prevent people from bricking their units if they were ipatched.

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

I see you missed the keyword being "native" which means " built into a given system." As far as your claims of "there is no evidence." You're easily able to recreate the issue using Atmosphere 8.0 and choiNX 1.0.1.

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

Yeah, actually it literally has. When the feature was first implemented, ChoidujourNX was causing bricks on users because said feature was improperly implemented and allowing the homebrew app to only write to some parts of nand and not others, the result was a Frankenstein firmware that wouldn't...

Homebrew Question TINFOIL 8.0 /8.0.1 help

What if we work the other way around? If you woke up one morning and Windows decided that your virus scanner could no longer scan certain parts of your hard drive, and you were unaware that updating windows would do so. We can both agree that that's a huge issue. The default behavior for all...

Hacking Updated to 9.1.0 on Choidujour now black screen

Sounds to me like you didn't choose to update to 9.1 exfat which explains the sdcard issue, you can remedy this by using a fat32 card to update to 9.1 again except this time selecting exfat. The gamecard issue sounds to me like you've got the nogc patch enabled so you'll need to disable it. IDK...

Homebrew RELEASE GoldBricks NSP/NSZ Title Installer

The best part about FOSS code like Awoo installer, is you can just remove the DRM and build it yourself. Then you can share your DRM-free version with other people.

Homebrew Discussion The Nintendo Switch, Malicious Apps, and You

Nope, switchFuckerUpper shows that a homebrew app can mess stuff up. Even with Atmo's prodinfo protection stuff, it's trivial to have a homebrew app drop a rcm payload onto the sdcard then reboot into it.

Homebrew Discussion The Nintendo Switch, Malicious Apps, and You

I'm not too familiar with the process myself, but you can verify NSP and XCI files by verifying the ACID signature. As far as doing that with NSZ files, worst case would be having to convert it back to an NSP before verifying. Good news though, most title installers do signature verification by...

Hacking please help me with cfw

I don't know how to fix the issue you're having. I just dropped in to say you should really make a nand backup because you seem like the type of person who would be very easy to trick into breaking your system and a backup would be the only way of fixing it.

Hacking Question How can i redownload my games on CFW?

You can redownload the games on OFW, then use SwitchSDTool to dump the game without using CFW, then install your legally obtained backups on the emunand

Hacking Question Anyway to unban online yet?

How about instead of fucking over anyone, you just don't be a piece of shit. If you sell the console, make sure to mentioned that it's banned, but also mention that it is a hack-able model. People looking for hack-able models won't give a shit if it's banned.
