    how new do you want it to be: sysUpdater 0.4.2 profi200 released this on Jan 5 · 2 commits to master since this release is this not too new? afaik the latest firmware "10.3" which was downgrade able isn't even newer?

    it works on any version up to 10.3 afaik auto i think you'll need to use SysUpdater instead of safesysupdater, it has an option to upgrade :P though i didn't get it to "start" also digging in the source code, the error 0xD900182F is caused by: f.open(u"/updates/" + it.name, FS_OPEN_READ)...

    must be something strange, because it won't open at all on 10.5 not even if not setup or setup, anyway going to try see if i succeed in getting custom ROM working on 9.2

    try unplug sdcard some people had black screen if they didn't. i was going to but eventually it booted up. i'm now mad since i did update without knowing this -.- DARN at least my brothers 3DS is now on 9.2 :) just going trough some heavy installations and stuff not sure how to get everything...

    i see, so then they patched it up as people said they would, then to downgrade from 10.5 we must find a new way i assume, not quite getting the hardmode * but i can at least downgrade my friends 3DS to 9.2 (i hope) since it uses 10.3 (E) and mine (J) is on 10.5. if i knew about all these cool...

    so this won't work with J model? all files are OK but when tested downgrade it will get stuck (only some dots on top screen left bottom is displayed) and sysupdater doesn't work only get files error main.cpp (usual error code) note i'm on 10.5 and i could try these downgrade method on 10.3 as...
