    Try downloading an older version for luma, then use luma updater to update it. Worked for me.

    I was in a situation like yours, try using an older version of luma, the last one didn`t boot on my n3ds, when i used a old one, it boots.

    Can i go through the downgrade to 2.1 using gateway emunand and the cart? For some reason i cant boot into luma3ds or rxtools, but i can boot into emunand mode. Im on a new3ds recently downgraded to 9.2 without issues.

    When you turn on your 3ds, the screen light up for less then a sec, that's screen init (if i'm not mistaken), if not, you don't have it.

    the key is a general key or console unique? I have the key, but it is in plain text. (At least I think I have the key)

    I'm trying to restore some old nand backups, and the latest decrypt9 version, the one which check the keys, is teling me that the backup it's not from my 3ds. I have 4 keys on my sd card.
