Glad to hear it's still working :) Don't know how mine went wrong and burnt them as after the update I booted straight into ReiNX then rebooted again into Hekate (I used NXLoader and had ReiNX loaded as the payload so swapped it back to Hekate to check)
Maybe you NEED to boot to Hekate after...
So now we have the ability to play backups. Is there a way for us to dump our owned cartridges to SD so that they can be played without carrying them all around?
Just wanted to warn people, although I am new to this so may be confused! Just did this to update from 2.00 and Hekate originally reported 2 burnt fuses. System now at 5.1.0 and Hekate reports 6 burnt fuses. Ahh well XD
After update console booted directly to ReiNX. I then rebooted to Hekate...
Pretty sure this needs the 3.0.0 exploit to launch code as that is what the team are working with. I'm going to leave my HB Switch at 2.0.0 until the dust settles with everything as it's looking like a softmod will be doable up to 2.3.0 with the recent news from Team Xecuter.
What I took from their wording is that it could be software based up to 2.3.0 and will be hardware for 3.0.0 or later. This wouldn't hurt there sales if they gave us a softmod for 1.0.0 - 2.3.0 as most units will be above this. In fact it may well help their sales by showcasing what is possible...
Emulators and a way to patch efuses for custom fw on up to 3.0.0 would be nice. Being as not many 1.0.0 machines out there I think this will come eventually :D
Just posted this in the other thread also:

I think I'll manage 3:)
Also just to mention again for those looking. I got a 3rd console on 3.0.0 from Scan Computers the other day, was the Neon Console that came with it. Wasn't expecting it and wasn't bothered as it was a gift but the receiver is VERY happy :)
I really hope this is the case as I have my original switch sat on FW 2 waiting.
Kind of off topic but I picked up a 3rd switch, Neon version, on FW 3 from Scan Computers yesterday if anyone is looking for one. Good luck :)
Oh OK, is it just me or is this guy hooked on bollocks? You may want to get that looked at as it could turn out to be a real 'pain in the ass' in future ;)
You are the one who needs to give it up... The screenshot I posted clearly says system update. The original poster was asking about this...
Wasn't talking bollocks as it clearly says SYTEM UPDATE. I've seen many game updates before, which this looked nothing like as you had to actually go past the game updates screen and wait for the game to load before that SYSTEM UPDATE screen comes...
Delete your update data and you'll see what...
Well usually you can skip the game update and play anyway but in this case the game loads after skipping the game update and presents that menu. I will update Zelda and report back anyway. If it's not a system update then you can understand the confusion here from the pic I posted.
leo @'d me in a thread about his last dream, stating he was passionately making out with a guy he used to know and then woke up while reaching for his crotch, and said that i would "know who 'tf' it is"
and of course i know, it's luke
