Not working here. I uninstalled the patched AGB and TWL firms, reinstalled the unmodified ones and copied the correct firms for O3DS: 6480ca248df3bf677f4adafd84e3829b *firmware_agb.bin f0f3403e0b1b4b09607a07603a53681c *firmware_twl.bin The patched_firmware_agb.bin and patched_firmware_twl.bin...

Yes, and you can delete all the folders inside the patches folder because they are not needed anymore. Don't forget to also copy the .cake from this post to the patches folder and to enable it in the Cakes menu.

I notice a difference of 1.5s if I compile the patcher.c with all the secureinfo and open_config code disabled (maybe because of file_open?)

The easy way: use TortoiseGit / Show log / Right button on the commit you want to revert / Revert change by this commit. Or: git revert --no-commit de4fea77a14c7047017777ef0d3e119c41efa24

I can confirm that with this commit I can't go back to the Home Menu from a GBA game (the console hangs). It works as expected with the commit reverted.

Hacking CakesFW or AuReiNand with a9lh?

I used a stopwatch and, in my case, I can't say one is faster than the other (Sysnand only and usepatchedfw enabled with AuReiNand). Anyway, I'll stick with Cakes because it works with all I need and never ever had a problem with it. When all people were using rxTools, I chose Cakes and we all...

Hacking CakesFW or AuReiNand with a9lh?

Cakes as my default one and, just for curiosity, I also installed AuReiNand and timed the booting times for both and they are pretty much the same, so I don't understand why people say it is faster.

    Hacking Official [Release] CakesFW

I tried to boot Cakes with Ninjhax on my 2DS v7.2 but all I got was a black screen; then I remembered about this and did the same with exploitdata.h. Now the menu boots but it hangs after "Prepared arm11 entry" "Booting..." Any ideas?

    Hacking Official [Release] CakesFW

I did a stress test with Cakes (emunand enabled, signatures off, autoboot on). I launched Cakes, played a game, turned off the console and tried again: a) 15 times with MSET 6.x: 1 freeze (at the DS profile screen). b) 10 times with Spider: no freezes. c) 10 times with MSET 6.x: 2 freezes (at...
