Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hello everybody. MI would like to overlock my Nintendo Switch with Atmosphere "permanently" so that I can play games on sysNAND better. Is that possible? If so, how? Do I risk to get banned? Kind regards

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I get that, but I still would like to keep the ability to eventually install a CFW, would that be possible if I update the sysmmc? Again, the switch has a modchip soldered on. KInd regards

Hacking SX Core Boot.dat error when booting into OFW

Hi, I get the error "Boot.dat?" whenever I boot my Nintendo Switch (with SX Core installed) with my clean micro-sd (I have two micro sds: one intended to not be tampered with with nothing that even reminds of an emulator or homebrew let alone backups and one with homebrews and SX OS installed)...

Hacking SX Core installed... What to do now?

So, I managed to get my SXCore installed and I would like to keep my sysnand as clean as possible and only ever use it to play online. I'd also like to make an emunand to play homebrews and fiddle with stuff. If it matters, I have installed the chip on a Switch first model (Diablo edition) on...

Hacking Question Safety and future proofness of SX-Core?

I see your point, but then Gateway basically was using the same entrypoint as free custom firmwares. What I meant by "future proofness" was more oriented to the patchability of said hardware entrypoint that from what I understand the SX-Core is. Please correct me as the purpose of this thread...

Hacking Question Safety and future proofness of SX-Core?

Thanks again for your reply. Yeah I guess I wasn't clear enough. I was under the impression the SX Core modchip was just an entrypoint for any exploit to be used and then install a cfw and emunand but I seem to understand now it's actually a device that Switches (sorry for the dumb joke) cfw...

Hacking Question Safety and future proofness of SX-Core?

Thank you both for your reply. I understand that Nintendo usually doesn't ban whole Nintendo accounts and that's good, but could you please elaborate more on the " If you click the cfw button without setting up emunand first, it's going to be running cfw on your sysnand and not the emunand"? I...

Hacking Question Safety and future proofness of SX-Core?

Can the vulnerability be patched? If I hypothetically solder the modchip and mod my Switch, but never get into emunand, will I get banned if I go online on sysnand? What about just installing the chip and not modding it? If I get banned, will my library be unaccessible as it was for the...

Hacking Question Switch modding and what to get pout of it

Hi, I'm a complete noob when it comes to Switch hacking. So basically I'd like to mod my Switch which is an old model, but definitely patched (I did the check with RCM mode), I'm on the latest firmware 10.1.0 and I plan on buying the SX Core to mod it. My purpose is to overclock the console (I...

Hacking Question Things not to do with a new Switch?

So, I'm on the verge of finally buying a Nintendo Switch. One thing I'm sure I'd like to do with it is to mod it, given that I'm lucky enough to get an unpatched one. Now my question is: I intend to buy some software from the eShop, does it require to update the console as well like it was on...

Hardware Yet another Switch purchase guide request

Hi, it's been a while since I wrote a post here. Basically, I'm looking forward to get a Nintendo Switch for months but every time I say to myself wait for Nintendo to release a Switch Lite or a Switch Pro. Now, people say Nintendo isn't going to announce new hardware in the foreseeable future...

Hardware Help me cope with having a TN display

A little bit of explanation: I found out a while ago that my New 3DS (not XL, the small one) has both TN displays which didn't bothered me much, until I saw some pictures of comparison between TN and IPS. Now, I definitely can't buy a new one because they don't produce the model I have anymore...

Android Is it possible to build your own tablet?

You could make one on your own with a Raspberry Pi but to me it's not worth, you end paying more in pieces (LCD, battery, 3D printed case etc.) than a tablet. Ultimately, tablet are useless and you very much likely already have a smartphone. If you use a tablet as a pc then you're wrong.
