Homebrew CitrAGB - 3DS GBA Emulator (WIP)

Hey man. Thank you so much for all your efforts towards proper GBA emulation on the 3DS. I've tried CitrAGB today and I was amazed to see that KuruKuruKururin was playable ! At first, I didn't understand why CitrAGB crashed when I tried to open my GBA rom folder, so I just copied the rom file to...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Thanks. I simply reinstalled blarg and it works fine now :) Also, today I've tried the latest build of CitrAGB, which now utilizes dynrec. The improvement for GBA emulation is simply amazing. I can't wait to see how much dynrec would improve blarg...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Can you access the settings, running blarg 1.2 with Ninjhax 1.1/b ? Because every time I try, it crashes CN.

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Maybe the extra processing power would help with emulating special chips, or to allow rewinding ? And what about layer-based 3D effect ? I know I'd be glad to play Starfox in 3D ! Probably seems a bit crazy even to StapleButter right now, but who knows, blargSNES could possibly become a...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Maybe some of you have noticed that Smealum has released Ninjhax 1.1. I was curious to check out the improvements so I uninstalled Ninjhax 1.0 and successfully installed 1.1 over wi-fi. The problem now is that some homebrew seem to be partially broken. For example, blargSNES 1.2 crashes when...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Hi. I'd like to adress the subject of nightly-builds again. I know, I know, StapleButter doesn't want his official thread flooded with links to unstable incremental builds, so that people don't ask support for them. But! Considering I really have no idea how to build them from GitHub sources...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

I didn't mean that in a pixel-perfect, hyper-accurate, need-an-i7 kind of way. But rather, it has to feel like the original game, without any obvious visual or audio glitches. I didn't try many VC games on my pal Wii, namely because I didn't want to play them in shitty 50hz (even though that was...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Well, the fact that they brought back colored ABXY buttons onto the New 3DS definitely hints at SNES VC games coming exclusively to the New 3DS in the near future. Really, I don't believe they would bring about a new handheld model just for the sake of slightly improved graphics and better 3D...

    Homebrew Homebrew Development

I believe this button combination is used in some SNES and GBA games to reset the game. I'd much rather have a touchscreen upper-right red cross such as in blargSnes. This would avoid any future conflict of the sort (until someone finds a way to register the Home button).

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

Actually, I changed Super Metroid (JU).fig to *.smc and the game runs perfectly fine in blarg. Let me try another one right now... yup, Smash TV runs fine until you start a game, then the announcer says "Good Luck" and CN crashes back to the 3DS Home Menu (might not be due to extension change...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

I've encountered a strange phenomenon in 1.2 I changed the extension of a few of my roms from .fig to .smc because blarg didn't recognize them, and now my rom list looks like this: The roms whose extension I changed are Smash TV, SF2Turbo, Super Metroid and Uniracer. And now, they don't appear...

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

blargSNES really is great. I'm using the 1.2 version and fullscreen mode really adds to the experience. Although I think that games would look better if they were displayed in 4:3, which would occupy 320*240px (as in the bottom screen). SNES games were programmed in 8:7 (256*224px), but they...
