    Thanks you for the responses is there a particular one that I can buy on Amazon or ebay. I don't really need a huge drive since I don't have a lot of games the minimum space I want is 500, but if I can get a 1tb for reasonable price that works as well. It must be 2.0 usb compatible.

    So I found this perfect save for Sonic 3 and I want to use it on genplus-gx, but there is one problem the save is a bin file and needs to be a srm file. I have googled to see if I a can find srm files for Sonic 3, but no luck and I wanted to know if there is a converter to convert saves to srm.

    Okay I fixed it now the problem was I was trying to launch it through the channel as well as updating it and not through the Homebrew Channel. So everything works now thanks for the help. Everything works perfectly.
