    If I remember correctly what I use to do when I didn't want it to prompt me for updating the app I would edit the title version in a game's app.xml to 9999. Don't quote me on that seeing as my memory is pretty close to vague when it comes to recalling it.

Try this: userdata.dat and rename it 1.save then take savegame.dat and rename that 2.save and then replace the original 1.save/2.save files on your PC with the renamed Wii U save...

    To be honest it is going to be a pain in the ass. The game seems to replace the files with the originals on launch when it freezes so when you restart the game it is back to it's unmodified state.     I tried doing the file replacements as well with no luck, I hope I will come up with something but until then I tried Spiik and it does work flawlessly with Twilight Princess HD. What are you setting Spiik Settings to?
