    PS1/2 Reprints or fakes? (PS2)

Not entirely sure what you mean. I live in a country that uses PAL and just got a modchipped PS2 so I can play NTSC games too.

    PS1/2 Reprints or fakes? (PS2)

Hiya, looked up a lot of info online the past week or so and just can't find the answers I'm looking for. I bought some "brand new and sealed" NTSC PS2 games from ebay (for use w/ a modchipped PAL PS2), probably resealed but I didn't really care. They had the y-fold and were all clean and stuff...

    Hacking Xenogears' Glitchy Gear Battling

Aaaaaand I find the solution less than a day after making the thread because OF COURSE. It was the cheats. I have the cheat that speeds text up activated, and it works great when I turn that off. Either way thanks for replying @ceifadorx

    Hacking Xenogears' Glitchy Gear Battling

I really didn't want to make a thread asking, but I've looked everywhere and exhausted basically every way of checking. I can't find anyone else online talking about this being a problem but I wonder if my Googling terms are just wrong, or it's just super-obvious and I'm being a pinhead. Does...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Got RetroArch running. Screwing around with PocketSNES right now. Amazing to see working Yoshi's Island, Kirby Superstar, Mario RPG, even if it comes at a slight audio sacrifice. Only a couple SNES roms have bugged out on me so far. Star Ocean was all fuzzy weirdness, and Tactics Ogre had a huge...

    Homebrew [Debate][Poll] Flashcards vs. 3DeSmume

For DS games, I'll probably continue using flashcard until it breaks so I can just plug it into any system and play, regardless of console mod or anything. There have been times with my DSTWO that my 3DS ran low on battery and there was no outlet nearby a comfortable place, so I just grabbed the...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Put a dent in my wallet and bought a pre-owned N3DS XL (fw 10.7) a few days ago, and a copy Cubic Ninja on ebay today. I'm crazy itchy to get homebrew and every running; RetroArch in particular. Huge thanks and props to any ingenious psycho who was, and/or is, willing to spend any time working...

Hacking Question about DS games on DStwo+

Pretty sure everything you need to download goes on the flashcard itself. Don't think it will affect the console in any way visible when the card is out (other than play time in your records).

Gaming Any signs of bootleg on these? (FF eBay listing)

Yeah I'd love to see inside them. I figure if the seller says they're real and then they turn out to be fake when I open them myself, I can at least have some kind of claim. And being GBA games if I have to pay for postage it shouldn't cost much.

Gaming Any signs of bootleg on these? (FF eBay listing)

No, I wish they did. If I get a response from them and they aren't sure of the legitimacy I might ask for one.

Gaming Any signs of bootleg on these? (FF eBay listing)

Heya. A listing showed up for 4 Final Fantasy GBA games last night while browsing eBay and by all means they look real to me, but I have that "GBA Uncertainty" every time I see a game worth getting. Note I haven't bought these, but will if every evidence shows they're legit. I've contacted the...

Hacking New 3DS XL no longer recognizes my DSTWO

Do you have another DS/3DS you can try it in? My card doesn't show up every now and then and it's just a matter of being really specific when slipping it in. Kind of "slide" in it to make sure it gets in correctly and then click down. Hope it's not a bigger problem.

Hacking GBA Tactics Ogre on DSTwo with TempGBA stutters, wonky controls

If it's just one battle I have to enter I might try it. I actually played most of Tactics Ogre SNES on the flashcard this year (I'm planning to update the CATSFC list) and have the PSP remake so I'll definitely play the GBA one in full one day.

Hacking GBA Tactics Ogre on DSTwo with TempGBA stutters, wonky controls

Is it something noticeable at the beginning of the game? I'm willing to try it but don't want to play ten hours to get to the problem, hah.

    Hacking SC DSTwo Freeze Problem...

Tried just now. Runs all right from the couple games I tried but the screen positioning can be really annoying. From what I gather they needed to not fit the whole screen in the get the game to run right so you have to use L and R to move the camera horizontally to see things. I might not play...

    Hacking SC DSTwo Freeze Problem...

If this is still happening and you've tried everything I would sadly have to assume it's the card. I'm no expert in the card's tech, but I'm an expert in paranoia.

Hacking How well does F-zero run on CATSFC?

I put it in dark green in the compatibility thread, after not being sure: http://gbatemp.net/threads/catsfc-game-compatibility.365912/ I am always kind of tentative about where to put things because somebody may genuinely want the DSTWO for only a few games and I might be steering them wrong...

    PS1/2 PS2 modchip - wired incorrectly? (photos)

I've tried every kind of reset twice/etc method there could possibly be, really. Thanks, though. Not that it matters anymore. :( The memory card/controller port is screwed after I had to flat out tape it to the board. The analog light turns on on controllers but it doesn't recognise button...
