Gaming A "Hello World" type of guide for Rockband 3 customs?

Is there such a thing? An idiot-proof newbie's guide to authoring songs for RB3 on the Wii? I've already successfully loaded custom songs other people have made, but I'd like to be able to say, rip a random obscure song from a CD or from YouTube, then play it on the Wii. Sent from my SM-G930V...

GCN Intec Travel Screen with hdmi

If I can swing it, I'm going to try and use the original gamecube charging port, or at least use where it is as a way to charge the batteries. I have a dremel on the way, but lack a 3D printer. I have the pi in a nice lego case right now, so I could just hotglue a lego base plate down, and...

GCN Intec Travel Screen with hdmi

For aesthetics and portability. I'm going to have it all selfcontained within the gamecube, and have it run on a battery. Having an attached screen removes the need for a TV. When I first saw the screen, I only say the gamecube video plug, I didn't see a composite in, but after some more...

GCN Intec Travel Screen with hdmi

This seems like the correct section for this. I'm currently working on a project with a Raspberry Pi, I'm going to take apart a Gamecube, house the Pi inside, and load emulators on it. I'm planning on using a third party travel screen as the main display, but the only ones I can find have the...

Is it not possible to edit cheats without a computer?

NFP was the code name for the amiibos. Nintendo Figurine Platform.

    Hacking Cheat editor?

I'm looking for a simple way to add and edit cheats from the card itself. I don't always have access to my computer, and I edit codes fairly often.

Hardware Looking for a hard drive

It looks like I found a way to do what I wanted. The Nextdrive plug should make a mini network without needing an internet connection, and I can just attach a hard drive to it. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/nextdrive-plug-wirelessly-expand-phone-storage/x/11059544#/

    Gaming Pokemon QR code editor?

I don't have the ability to modify my save file, and it's more of a what if scenario anyway. Like, if I change this bit from white to black, what stats change on my opponent?

    Gaming Pokemon QR code editor?

Has anyone experimented with editing a secret base code? With the amount of data stored in it, it's probably difficult of not impossible, but in theory you could make completely custom bases just by editing the code, right?

Hardware Looking for a hard drive

I could swap the sd cards, but that'd mean I'd need to take my battery cover off each time I got in and out of the car. If I was going to do that it would just be easier to use my OTG adapter and plug a drive in each time, but then it'd be hanging off my windshield and I'd still need to...

Hardware Looking for a hard drive

Hmm, it's a bigger footprint than I was looking for, but not a bad work around. I already have a bluetooth adapter for an old desktop, I could throw that on the netbook for file transfers.

Hardware Looking for a hard drive

I picked up a bigger sd card, but an extra 16gb is hardly the 500gb-2tb I'm looking for. Still looking for any information I can find for more wireless storage that doesn't need a router or a data plan.

Hardware Looking for a hard drive

I'm sure there are other sites better suited for this question, but I figured someone might know the answer here, and it's indirectly related to gaming anyway. I'm looking for a bluetooth hard drive, or some other way to give my phone extra portable storage without a direct connection. My...

Hacking Spoofing an amiibo using Android+NFC?

I believe you are seriously underestimating scalpers and the ignorant masses good sir. Even if they were restocked, a scalper could still say it's rare, and an unknowing grandmother would buy a dozen "danky kang" amiibos.

Hacking Spoofing an amiibo using Android+NFC?

I don't think scalpers will take too much of a hit with this actually. There are some people who want the short print figures for the figures themselves, not necessarily the data from them.

Hacking Spoofing an amiibo using Android+NFC?

Did they already make the amiibo reader for the O3DS? As far as I knew they use different tech than skylanders and needs it's own thing

Hacking Spoofing an amiibo using Android+NFC?

I have a 3DS, but it doesn't have amiibo support. Only the N3DS does currently, the original one will need an as of yet unreleased peripheral to support them.

Hacking Spoofing an amiibo using Android+NFC?

I knew bookmarking this thread was a good idea. I don't even have a Wii U yet, but now I know the amiibos won't be a barrier of entry for me anymore.

Things you recently bought or got

A USB N64 controller, a mayflash 3in1 controller to USB adapter, and PS2 controller are all on the list of recent game related acquisitions. I have a few decades worth of games to catch up on.
