The emuNAND is used for running 3ds retail cartridges online and accessing the 3DS eshop (downloading apps and such).     As long as you download the pokebank app on your 3ds and have the retail cart I don't see why it would be a problem. ps - I dont even have pokemon x/y yet. Just an educated guess.

    All I know is that we'll need the latest emuNAND version to download the pokebank app on 3ds; also the poketransporter app thing to transfer gen V pokemon into the bank. I'm not sure about the login system, I haven't thought about that. I guess we'll have to wait and see and hope things work well.
