Hacking Best price to order Gateway atm?

I'd say you should keep an eye on ebay/craigslist. With all the recent bad press about gateway, now might be an opportune time to monopolizeon other peopl's misfortune.

Hacking How can anyone be okay with Gateway's behavior?

I think it's kind of badass. I mean, sucks about the fallout, but who doesn't like the ambitious, cut-throat villian that'll do anything to win? I mean, it's piracy afterall. I look forward to their future updates.

Hacking Icon positions resetting on emunand - glitch?

I have been trying to organize my recent eshop purchases into folders for 3D Classics, Virtual Console and DSiWare. Every time I reboot my 3ds, all the folders are empty except for DSiWare* and all the icons are strewn across the screen. What the heL? HOW FIX *probably because DSiWare games are...

    Hacking Gateway v2.0B2 Now Available

I could get in eshop under 7.1 emunand just fine with this update up until this evening, now it's giving me an error message. Am I alone here, or has Nintendo pulled the plug?

    Hacking Consolidating SD card data...

Okay so I'm back. That guys emunand tool did the trick and I managed to sucessfully transfer my emunand over to my new 16gb SD card. I now have 3 SD cards 1 2gb with no emunand and all my original eshop games on it 1 2gb with 6.3 emunand and Zelda ALBTW eshop on it 1 16gb with 6.3 emunand and no...

Hacking Help moving Gateway NAND from one SD to another

Could anyone thing of a way I could do this on mac? My only computer with a built in SD card reader is an imac :(

Hacking Help moving Gateway NAND from one SD to another

If we could extract the NAND all over again, couldn't we just run the gateway formatter on the 3ds like the first time?

Hacking Help moving Gateway NAND from one SD to another

This seems a lot more complicated than I had anticipated! I'm on a mac, too. I suppose I could do this in VMware, but I won't bother trying until someone with more knowhow than I can confirm a working method.

Hacking Help moving Gateway NAND from one SD to another

I bought a 16gb SD card, since the Gateway NAND limits the available space on my 2GB. I was planning on recovering some of my eshop titles from the backup I made of my SD card before formatting it with Gateway, but in order to do that I need the extra space - So I need to somehow move the...

Hacking Emunand and what it would mean for the annoying update prompt

Regardless of whether or not you think it would be a waist[sic] of time, I'm looking forward to finding out if it can be done because *I* think it would come in handy. Also you would think that gamers would be familiar enough with having your tastes dismissed by others that this kind of...

Hacking Emunand and what it would mean for the annoying update prompt

Couldn't you just redump your now empty 4.5 nand, then use the emuNAND to go onto the eshop to redownload all of your purchases, seeing as they would still be linked to your 3ds, and the nand is just a duplicate of your original.

Hacking Emunand and what it would mean for the annoying update prompt

I know that it's only a minor problem, but nonetheless there is a potential solution presented with the 2.0 update. So even though I wasn't crying about it before, I'll be glad to be able to get rid of the prompt so that I'm not going into surgery-mode every time I turn on my 3DS.

Hacking Emunand and what it would mean for the annoying update prompt

That's kind of my point, really. As long as I have everything I want on the emuNAND, then I could wipe the 4.5 side and avoid screwing myself over. I just thought this was an interesting perk for those of us with this problem.

Hacking Emunand and what it would mean for the annoying update prompt

For those of us who mistakenly allowed our 3ds to go online for long enough to automatically download the update and now risk catastrophe every time we turn on our 3DS, how about this: When gateway 2.0 comes out do you think we'll be able to wipe the non-emunand, (keeping all our eshop downloads...

Hacking Gateway v2.0 Part 2: NAND Emulation

I have a lot of faith in the Gateway team to be able to do great things. So far they have blown away everyone's expectations. It's annoying to see all the whining about features that haven't been released yet, especially when you take into account the great progress made by Gateway thus far...

Hacking This happens, Oh god why

Nintendo gives out swag like this at every opportunity. Maybe if he had posted a picture of the 'test cartridge' I would believe this, but without any sort of proof I am pretty much convinced that this guy was just trying to screw with people.

Hacking Gateway v2.0 Part 2: NAND Emulation

I wonder what the nature of the limitation to using your own dumped NAND is, and whether or not it will ever be lifted. I remember with the Wii, they eventually figured out a way to generate a fresh NAND.

Hacking Gateway v2.0 Part 2: NAND Emulation

If another flashcart appears I doubt the Gateway will become the inferior option. If anything, they would be able to reverse-engineer the new exploit and perhaps gain better compatibility. At the end of the day you can't really *lose* with the Gateway if you already have 4.5 - You have at your...

Hacking Gateway v2.0 Part 2: NAND Emulation

This is a brilliant update. I am reminded of the initial progress of the Wii homebrew scene - Pretty soon I imagine we should be able to install homebrew to our emulated NAND a la the Homebrew Channel, or maybe even get a CFW :)
