So I just read that recent article regarding Switch performance that Frontiers is still running on an updated modified Hedgehog Engine. The same one I believe that started with Unleashed iirc. Just diving into the romFS I've already found traces of notes for debug levels with console codenames...
Ah makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that info, I was wondering if this was a hard cap or something to do with refresh rate. Could this be used to trace what is calling that frame time value? Or writes/reads to it. Then search search for 32.5ms as a value. In cheat engine and not in an emulator...
Been banging my head against the wall trying to get 60 FPS in Sonic Frontiers. I saw the post about trying an exeFS patch. Hazerou's method 2 gets me the limiter parameter in edizon-se fairly easily but 0 = no change, 1 no change 30.7fps~ max?, 2 = 30fps flat, 3 is 20fps, 4 is 15fps. I found a...
so just curious, I'm seeing that people dump there own tik files? could someone just dump the Twilight Princess US tik themselves and upload it? Is this easy to do or are the Scene Releases different?
Just to follow up with this, I just followed the exact same steps with Captain Toad and did not run into the 0xFFFB446 error, so it's either a problem with the unmodified and modified .tik from that iso site... or NUS is not downloading the right files. If someone manages to get it working PM me...
Has anyone gotten Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric to work? I know it's a terrible game. But... Sonic...
I've downloaded the files with NUSGrabber and JNUSTool. I had to use NUSGrabber for the .cert file. The title ID I used is 0005000010175B00. I'm using the modded .tik file from that iso site... but...
Is there any other way to get .cert files? No matter what I do NUS does not seem to download them. I'm using the
java -jar JNUSTool.jar [titleid] -dlEncrypted
command.
Downloaded the the files for Mario Maker by checking the Title Database link and found 000500001018DC00, then used the command "java -jar JNUSTool.jar 000500001018DC00 v16 -dlEncrypted" with NUS
copied the files to the sd:/install/ directory
found the title.tik file from the mediafire link...
Amazing contribution! Thank you for your hard work. If there is any way that I can help PM me! I'm decent with design software.
One suggestion, I like the new tunic...however I prefer the original design, only because I feel it will make the experience more authentic. But it's still cool!
Xbox 360 hard drive with an Xbox transfer cable works perfectly. I just for formatted with the windows disk manager. If I run into any issues with with dios mios 2.9 I'll update this but as it stands it works with all the GameCube games I've tried. (Windwaker, Sonic Adventure 2/DX, Skies of...
Thanks so much, I don't really understand what I did differently, as I just used mmm to install 236, I guess I kept thinking I was installing it when I installed Ios36 (trucha stuff). I had already installed d2xv8 so I was on the right track, but anyway, somehow that worked and online...
My Wii can no longer connect to the internet. My friend uninstalled ios249 while we were trying to figure out what I did to make DIOS MIOS stop working. Basically, I tried updating dios mios, and along the way I ended up installing cios d9 beta or whatever to ios249 with a base of 37, along with...
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
