Seeing the progress with the Fire Emblem Warriors editor, I was hoping someone would be able to help with Fate/Extella. Just looking for the basics really: character level, bond level, install skills, mystic codes, etc.

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I was in the process of setting up arm9loaderhax and messed up after getting my OTP.bin file. I must have labeled my backup sysNAND wrong, but when I went to restore my sysnand from 2.1 to 9.2, I was left on 11.0 sysnand. My question is if I get freakyforms deluxe, will I be able to reflash with...

Hacking Online Play Forced Update in FE:Fates

I was reading this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/update-10-7-and-homebrew.418962/ and thought that menuhax stopped working after update. I guess I'll go for the update route then as long as I can maintain my autoboot sequence into cakeFW.

Hacking Online Play Forced Update in FE:Fates

I'm currently trying to access online for Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition (on cartridge) and it seems that they require me to update to 10.7. I'm currently on 10.5 emunand o3dsxl and would like to preserve my menuhax. What are my options to get back online? I heard of a program called...

    Hacking 9.9 Dummy Browser

I'm helping a friend set up HBL on an o3DS 9.9. Unfortunately, it seems that he used the 3ds with Triforce Heroes which installed the dummy browser. We already tried using the DNS block to prevent system update check, but the message still appears. What are our options (aside from buying LoZOot...

    Homebrew Ironhax failing installation

Remove all the files on your SD card from the starter pack (Do a complete delete, not just copying over). Then re-add the files from the starter pack and load tubehax. It might crash a few times, but once you get HBC running go retry ironhax.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
