Im running a 4.2u system (and do not want to update to 4.3)
My main question is should I use the wiibrew installer to install ios58 or should I use the ModMii installer to install ios58?
Does anyone know which is the better one to use? (or most up to date)
Im thinking about it since im gonna try and see if priiload is safe (not sure what priiloader patches, or how it works... sounds risky)
But with patch system menu wont that be better security?
And congradualtions on my birthday yesterday! woooo
My ios36 is normal (should not matter...)
My IOS 70 (4.2u) is clean
I have the 236 (es_identify, trucha, nand)
Do not have any ios58
I also have 254(rev 65281) with bootmii (no boot2)
So will installing priíloader (w/ modmii 236) modify/patch my system menu ios70? I have 2.4u
(if it does...
Lets get the sysCheck in the open (sysCheck v2.1.0b18)
My goals after my exems are to:
1.) SAFLEY install priiloader (100% chance of no-brick) "that is if i cant get boot2"
2.) install ios58 (on my 4.2u) & forwarder channels
→** 3.)If possible see what this "patch IOS36" is all about, and why...
I have heard numerous stories on people on 4.2 who isnatll the OFFICAL ios58 (v6175), and have problems runing homebrew channel.
MY delema is that my family wants a forwarder chanel (which requires ios58) b/c the HBC scares them....
The only modifications I have are: ios249 d2x 56, ios250 d2x...
