Hacking Dios Mios randomly failing to load game data

That's what confuses me though, I play Wii games off the same hard drive without any issues. I recall having some similar issues with Wii games years ago (the HDD would go into sleep and I had to unplug it and plug it back in again for it to start loading), but they went away when I updated my...

Hacking Dios Mios randomly failing to load game data

I realize the title is extremely vague, so I'll elaborate. Basically, I've got the latest version of Dios Mios (not Lite), a copy of LoZ: Wind Waker on my 320GB FAT32 formatted HDD, and I'm using WiiFlow to launch it. To start with, the game *does* run. However, my issue is that, whenever I...

Homebrew Would porting an HTML5 web browser over to the Wii be possible?

About the current browser being 'dated and slow' - keep in mind the Wii isn't exactly a powerful machine, even for its own time. Even if someone did somehow manage to port chromium or Firefox to the Wii (well, you *can* run those by just running desktop Linux, but never mind that) they won't...

Hacking Update to PRO-C or stay on PRO-B10?

You probably should, if you care enough to do it.

    Hacking PSP Volume Help.

Well, he doesn't necessarily need to downgrade to switch firmwares. He could switch from PRO to ME, for example (both have 6.60 builds).

Hacking Question regarding unpatching key 5

isn't the fix for this just to set the USB Device setting to a non-default value and edit a file from a PC? My memory is a bit foggy on this one.

Hacking downloaded zookeeper for testing but where to place the files ?

Try putting it in the same folder as the EBOOT.PBP. So you have a path that's ms0://PSP/GAME/<homebrew name>/ and contains both the res folder and the EBOOT.PBP.

    Hacking PSP-GO on line

On 6.60, though? Last I checked, PSNLover only went up to 6.20.

Hacking Planning to buy a PSP

Why? You can boot into OFW at any time even with a permanent CFW installed. Just hold SELECT from a cold boot.

Hacking Planning to buy a PSP

The Xperia Play and the PSP GO are pretty much the same, yeah. If you're comfortable with the Play, the Go will be just fine. Rydian made a little mistake, M2 is the same size as MicroSD, not SD. So there's no card small enough to make an adapter for - You'll have to buy an M2.

    Homebrew Dolphin Is Super Laggy!

Dolphin is very resource intensive. You definitely need a good PC to run it properly. Also note that it's more CPU heavy than it is GPU heavy, meaning you should upgrade your processor first of all.

Hacking Emulators run all slow and choppy

Playing backups is extremely easy. Just rip the game to an .ISO (or .CISO if compression is your thing) and put it in the /ISO/ folder on your memory stick. Boom, done. Works on all firmwares.

Hacking Configurable USB Loader can't detect my hard drive.

249 is just the location of the cIOS, it means nothing. You probably have Waninoko's cIOS if your Wii was modded before d2x came out.

    Hacking PSP hacking/modding F.A.Q.

Yes. Not necessarily a permanent CFW, but if your friend can figure out running the quick restore every time he wants to play something, he'll be fine.

Hacking Emulators run all slow and choppy

Sounds like it. Maybe he was messing around in the VSH menu and didn't notice?

Gaming can't connect psp to computer

Is there a difference? Pretty sure all USB cables are data cables unless you short out the data pins.

Gaming can't connect psp to computer

It should work perfectly fine on that setup. Definitely a faulty cable or port, then.
