    Hacking USB Loader GX

At first that's what I thought. I ended up ripping it twice, once with GX and once with CleanRip. Both rips performed the exact same way. The disc is clean and doesn't have any scratches. I'm not sure why 224[57] works better for me. Hopefully it will work for others that aren't having success...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

All of my JD games work fine with "IOS249[56] d2x-v8final" except for JD 2017. I had to use "IOS224[57] hermesrodries-v6" to get it working. I tried the cIOS's below but the game stuttered and locked up on each one. IOS249[56] d2x-v8final IOS250[57] d2x-v8final IOS251[57] d2x-v10beta52 The...

    Homebrew postLoader4

Thank you for the suggestion. The n2oswitch file isn't available in the Postloader download. I tried with "neek2obooter.dol" but that didn't work. The neek2o features work fine in version 4.7.4 without the n2oswitch file present. I'm going to stick with this version unless I find a way to get...

Homebrew The best Wii homebrew applications 2017

I have to give some love to Postloader, it's the app that I always come back to as my main launcher. It can launch emunand channels in neek2o mode, switch between multiple nands, launch retail games with your preferred loader, supports multiple plugins, and best of all it can be a system menu...

I put the official instructions for the neek2obooter.app file in the spoiler tag below. You will have to find your system menu app file, the instructions use "0000009b.app" as an example. You will need to rename it to sysmenu.app and then rename neek2obooter.app to 0000009b.app.

    Homebrew postLoader4

A If you install the neek2obooter.app on your neek2o nand, you will go back to Postloader after exiting a game.

    Homebrew postLoader4

I've been unsuccessful with getting neek2o functionality to work with the daxtsu versions of Postloader. Can someone confirm if their version of 4.7.95 or 96 can use the neek2o options below? With 4.7.4 I have the option to launch emunand channels in neek2o mode. I use this option for a handful...

Hacking neek2o with over 800 channels?

I highly recommend that you look into using Postloader as a System Menu replacement on your UNEEK nand. There is a file called "neek2obooter.app" that you can add to the nand that will allow you to instantly access the Postloader interface instead of the System Menu. The interface isn't as...

Hacking Postloader 4.7.96 initial setup issues

Have you noticed any issues running neek2o with this version of Postloader? When I run the 4.7.96 dol, I lose the neek2o functionality below. When I switch back to 4.7.4, everything is back in place. I'm curious to know if you can do any of the following.... 1. From the real nand, when I'm on...

Hacking Postloader 4.7.96 initial setup issues

Are you still experiencing these issues? You might have more luck in the stickied Postloader thread. http://gbatemp.net/threads/postloader4.299384/ Also, I know that Nintendont support is important but you may want to start with the last official release of Postloader (stfour) and see if that...

Hacking neek2o support for multiple emunands in USB Loader GX

My mistake, I meant to say forwarders. In my case, I was launching the WiiMC forwarder from GX and had no access to USB. I believe the same was happening on a Wii Explorer forwarder. Launching from System Menu or Postloader and USB access was there. I brought it up in the GX thread (link...

Hacking neek2o support for multiple emunands in USB Loader GX

I'm not so sure that it does but maybe I'm just not understanding what you are saying. using Postloader from real nand, I can launch the neek2o channel and boot into my emunand where I can run channels with native ios. Although my emunand is large, there is no wait time due to Postloader...

Hacking neek2o support for multiple emunands in USB Loader GX

Have you looked in to using Postloader? It supports multiple nand switching and best of all, it's got an option to run Postloader as your neek system menu and it works with NO wait time, great for large nands like the one you are describing, If you are going to try it, I recommend using the last...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I had similar issues with neek2o, too long of a wait for large nands. A good workaround is to install Postloader on your neek2o nand and then configure it to use "neek2obooter.app" as the system menu. This allows Postloader to replace your neek2o system menu and it boots up right away, no more...

    Homebrew postLoader4

Daxtsu, I finally had an opportunity to thoroughly test this dol and I have confirmed that the neek2o features are not present. From the real nand (priiloader - priibootergui - postloader) I can launch neek2o and boot into my emunand but the neek2o nand switching functionality isn't present...

Daxtsu, thanks very much for taking time to look into this. My apologies for not being able to provide feedback right away, I will thoroughly test as soon as I return from out of town. Edit: I found my original post from back in October.Originally I reported that I was having issues because...

    Homebrew postLoader4

Just curious, has anyone successfully tested neek2o functionality with any of the daxtsu releases? I can no longer launch games in neek2o mode and I can no longer use the nand switching option. This could very well be something on my end so just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

Cyan, definitely the forwarder channel but unfortunately I'm not 100% about launching it from the built-in homebrew browser.

I'm not sure if it helps but I reported a similar issue (wiimc no hd access) back in March, 2013. At the time, I was using 1209......http://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/page-841#post-4593979

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

  • Jayro @ Jayro:
The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
