You wouldn't be able to run HBC even if you managed to install it. To start HBC you need BootMii as boot2, Priiloader or a working System Menu. Also my idea wouldn't work because I got some things confused.
Currently there is no exploit that works on a korean Wii with System Menu 4.3, so the...
I once had a similar problem with a friend's Wii. After some fiddling around I found out that Wii's USB ports were broken. Did you get any USB access with any application? You could try ftpii, WiiXplorer and MPlayer-CE's USB analyzer. (Some of those might require a cIOS in slot 202.) If you...
The Homebrew Channels stores the loading source, the sorting and some other stuff in that save file. It is completely safe to delete it because it doesn't contain any vital information but the Homebrew Channel will create it again the next time you start it.
Just make sure you don't accidentaly...
I thought that the disc header contained a byte to tell which IOS should be used for loading, but I somehow confused that with something else. My thought was that most region changed korean Wiis would still have some cIOS on them.
Priiloader requires Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 or above (probably for AHBPROT) or a patched IOS36 to be installed.
Shouldn't it be possible to exchange the drive for an older one with a modchip and use it to boot for example the Hackmii Installer?
Is there any homebrew project for Wii which uses the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable for any purpose? I'm looking for examples on how to use it in homebrew.
1. The "a" from your model number has nothing to do with the date code.
The date code is marked red in this picture.
You should look at your PS2 again and post your date code.
Updating to 4.3 brings only bad stuff. System Menu 4.1 is the last version with new features. All further versions are only to block homebrew and piracy. Your Wii will probably not be bricked if you update to 4.3, but you still shouldn't do it. If you use DOP-Mii to update to 4.1 you get all the...
Button A should start your DOL. Is LoadMii responding to your Wii Remote at all? LoadMii hasn't been updated for a long time and certainly doesn't have the highest compatibility. Priiloader can start DOL files in your sd card's root directory. That should be more reliable than anything going...
Support for Hermes' cIOS v5 and Waninkoko's cIOS v19 was added/fixed in r922. In r931 they reverted to r921, so all improvements from r922 to r930 are gone. I'll keep r929 untill most of the features from r922 to r930 are added again.
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
