figured it out... when I upgraded it created 2 [GENERAL] sections. I didn't see it at first as I didn't scroll down far enough. The second section had all the default paths set to sd.. so I wasn't loosing my mind
here it is incase you still want to look..

Tried deleting the cache folder, no go
I even renamed the wiiflow directories i found on the sd and usb. It creates a new SD:/wiiflow and the covers save to the SD. I even edited the wiiflow.ini and resaved it. Still nothing.. is this a bug or am I missing something in my config??
Hey everyone, reading up on the wiiflow code site and I'm really impressed with all the changes and activity, awesome work dev team!
I do have one question and perhaps I missed it in one of the committed change logs.
I just updated to r181 and now when I start up my covers are all gone again...
Cyan,
I reported this issue aswell. It was right after I asked you if you downgraded to rev17 to get 927+ to work.

I have since gone back to Rev19 and just set the settings to Quickboot for a temporary fix.. seems to work fine.
I have...
I use the Passport Elite with the mini dock. I leave the Dock connected to the Wii and pull out the drive and connect to my MAC or PC with the extra cable. THis setup works really well for me..
I would recommend disabling the VCD like XFlak mentioned. You can download the latest firmware and...
not too sure on that one.. I have never done it. I only use WBFS for games. Take a look at this manager, I have tested it on my MAC and seems to work well
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=214002
or use the latest Wii Game Manager from...
just search a little deeper in this forum and you would find this thread:

its the channel creator I use and have had no problems when I switched to rev19.
I think you got a little ahead of your self...
The Readmii is a little outdated and there is talk on updating it.
Either way I wouldn't follow the readmii of a loader to softmod your Wii. You have to delete all the over 200 stubs first if you want to intall Wanin's or HErmes version ios back...
Did you use CRAP as tj suggested?
I use CRAP and select the game from WBFS drive and create the banner WAD. Then I send it directly to the Wii via CRAP. Just launch the Homebrew channel first and put in the ip.
Works really well, oh and I use USB LOader GX as the selected loader for the WADs...
binary means how wiiflow's dol was compiled as either 249 or 222 as the defualt IOS. Check out the downloads site the latest 2 are there.

thanks all!
I ended up deleting it with ATD, even though I downloaded from NUS auto just incase..
I ran syscheck and it ran perfect no more dumping.. strange it got messed up in the first place..
thanks tj, I am dyslectic some times..
if I don't need it then why does syscheck 1.6.1 crash stating it can't read it and pimpmywii gives me an error report saying its not correct version??
It seems my IOS 4 is version 0. Is this custom or an official nintey ios??
Can I repair using XFLAK's NUS Autodownloader and simple download and install the WAD?
Was finally able to get Syschec to load a few times and it says in a red font:
Unable to get size of TMD os IOS04! then it quits 3 seconds later.
any ideas what that means? what it IOS04 and how do your repair it?
not sure anyone else has seen this before.
I downgraded my ios 249/250 back to rev17 because the loading was hanging with rev19 and r929. (on a side note, for the devs, if I launched a game channel I made with CRAP using Gx as the loader, it loads no problem. THe Hang only happens if I load GX...
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
