you have a bad rip....there's a bad rip of MPT floating around the interwebs that behaves in exactly that manor. this is not an alt dol problem as the reddit link addresses. nor is it a cIOS problem on your rmachine. when that rip was dumped, the homebrew app used to dump it was running on...- brausm08

Hacking Wii Black Screen [Priiloader working]
priiloader -> HBC -> mymenuify then load a good theme for your menu version. you can get working themes (or the original) from page 3 in Modmii if needed. reinstalling your system menu SHOULD also work, but without bootmii/boot2 this isn't so much advised.- brausm08

when you updated the loader, did you just replace the boot.dol or do a full install? a full install for wiiflow would be to delete/rename SD:\wiiflow as well as replacing the SD:\apps\wiiflow contents with the current boot.dol and meta.xml. i'm not a GX user, so i'm not exactly sure on how GX...- brausm08

if you have priiloader installed, savemii(frii) isn't really all that useful. i think it was most recommended with the korean wii 003 error, which people found themselves in after updating the system menu and its IOS before reinstalling priiloader.- brausm08
