    I tried that for hours yesterday with no luck. Followed steps from guides here on seven sins and psx palace. No luck. I was able to get it to work on my cousin's Slim 2XXX. EDIT - I missed you telling me to write to NOR. My PS3 is a phat CECHK which the image tells me is supposed to write to NAND.

    I don't know what else to tell you but that. I was able to to get the exploit to work with a slim with the NOR method. Trying now with a phat and NAND with unsuccessful results. Most times I freeze on success but if it makes it past that it shuts down almost immediately but CFW installation...

    That seems to mean the exploit didn't take. Try to run it again until success and auto shut down and try again.

    Really? I was having the same issue you were where my CFW wasn't installing and I kept getting "data corrupted" error. My ps3 is a phat CECHK and I have been trying the NAND exploit with no luck. :(

    I'm in the same boat. I was able to get the success message and my ps3 turned off. Then I restarted and tried to install CFW then I get the corrupted error. I'm thinking the exploit didn't take hold? I'm trying to re-do that however I'm not getting trouble getting past "triggering exploit failed."

    Tried it on a different SD card. Haven't downloaded a different copy. Figured out a bit of a work around though. I tried started the game with the movies turned off and so far everything is working fine. I'll try it out like this and hopefully won't run into anymore troubles.
