Hacking anyway to make savestates from another user playable
hello, because of some reasons, i had to start a new PSN account and now it says i cant load my save games because they are not my own. Is there any way to trick my ps3 ?- darkamy

Hacking Crown3ds flashcard - Hacking your 3DS and playing 3DS games
till yesterday i wasn't even bothered that there is no working 3ds card yet. I would just import the games i'm highly anticipating, when they are relased and then get cheap ds3 from somewhere. But now i know all the games are region locked, which absolutly sucks :angry: I would need 3 3ds for...- darkamy

DS #5662: Harvest Moon: The Tale Of Two Towns (USA)
well i got two sd cards. on the first one i just reinstalled the OS SP6, still doesn't work. My second card has an older OS Sp 4 or 5 i guess and there the hotkey feature wasn't implemented yet. And on my second card it works fine along with 3-4 old games which my first card won't play.- darkamy

nice game but seriously... doesn't work on ds one sdhc with the actual os but with a much older one it works. And the older version doesn't have the custom hotkeys for the instant save menu. ( sometimes my L button doesn't work)- darkamy

I just looked at it and it seems rune factory 3 is a little different than harvest moon. It only has a utility.bin file which taxahan can extract while harvest moon is stuffed with .bin and .all files.- darkamy

ROM Hack Question about extracting games
Heya guys, I have been curious about the new Harvest moon game ( 牧場物語 ふたごの村) I used taxahan to extract it but it seems like the interesting stuff is inside the .bin files and I dunno how i can extract them. Can anyone help me ? Tank you- darkamy

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
