Hacking Help Needed: System files corrupted

Unfortunately this has been going on for several months now. When you say 'reset the wii' do you mean restore to system defaults?

Hacking Help Needed: System files corrupted

I've had my Wii setup for USB loading for a few years now, and I haven't touched it since. Recently I got the new Donkey Kong Country (great game), and it required an updated cIOS. I grabbed the latest at the time and everything was fine... However, once I stopped playing this game (a few weeks...

Hacking How to start from scratch?

Ok, I guess you are right if it is working. One more question: I can't (ever) seem to install Preloader. It gives an error that I cannot read (it is at the top of the screen and for some reason above where my tv ends). I can read the last two words, I think it says 'bug fixed'. I followed the...

Hacking How to start from scratch?

Interesting..but that SD card used to work fine. Any ideas what could have made it stop working? Also interesting: I can't seem to load preloader? The error is at the top top of my screen and can't read it. Seems something to do with 'bug fixed' all the way on the right.

Hacking WAD Manager error ret = -1

I am also having this problem, as well GeekBox and Homebrew browser tell me they cannot read the FAT partition of my SD card. Is this a problem with my cIOS 249 or my SD card? I'd really like to fix this because I cannot use Mplayer, GeekBox or WAD Manager anymore. Thanks for any help!

    Hacking Starting fresh with IOS

Hi all, In an attempt to get the Rock Band instruments to work on my backup, I followed a whole bunch of different instructions to install this IOS to that IOS using this IOS, and so on. I want to start fresh and remove all the 36 + 37 merge and all the different ones that I installed so that...
