    Yes but the games work fine on the 1TB and I already have a ton of other files (photos, shows, movies) and cant partition the drive now. Why won't homebrew start when the USB is plugged in? It works fine if I plug it in after homebrew starts.

    That is a classic sign that your game needs tobe patched. The info of how to do that are everywhere. Or you can just find an already patched version.

    Are you on an NTSC Wii. Make sure you are forcing NTSC if you are. Also make sure you are using cios 259 (both the above can be configured in uloader) If it still doesnt work changes are you have a bad copy.
