I am 5 months in on my Gulikit sticks and they have been very reliable playing TOTK and Bloodstained. No complaints other than dismantling the right joycon. Other than that the stiffness is not a problem whatsoever.
Quick question. I have a V1 Switch. If I update the firmware to 17 can I still boot with Hekate to my cfw whic is still at 16 and not be buggy or crash when playing games?
Edit: It's been a while since i've read up on Switch cfw.
I just beat TOTK with the 900p mod and my God the battle with Ganon in his dragon form looked fantastic! I tried using the 1080p mod but for some reason I can't get the gpu boost mod to work for me and would get 20fps after oc everything else. 900p fighting the Ganon and the dragon was a steady...
I bought my Switch used and the battery life was shorter compared to my brother's joycons so I don't know for sure, but I honestly don't believe the gulikit sticks can affect battery life noticeably. I only let my joycons die to see if I had to recalibrate after full discharge.
I have had mine installed for a couple months now and they are fantastic. My only issues were the stiffness at first but that is easily worked out after some use. Even after killing the batteries while playing they keep their calibration.
I'm a bit lost on some aspects of Switch modding. I have a v1 console. Will this work on the v1 without overheating it?
Edit: Can't believe I didn't see the post above mine. Forget I asked.
I didnt use any editors. I just backed up my Switch., rip game save from bach up using Nx-Nand manager, inject game save with JKSV. I did do a backup of my base TOTK game save first, though so try that before copying over your 1.1.2 game save.
Capcom is releasing Seperate Ways as DLC so i will wait for the remake to go on sale. Price is too much for a remake and splitting a portion as a DLC adding to that price tag is a bit on the greedy side.
so just like the toy industry trying to stop scalpers from buying all the action figures to sell online they stop stocking shelves of hot toy items and same with current gen consoles. have to buy online. yeah, big box stores get to dictate what they sell you "for your own good". Wait until AA...
So far so good. I tried out Street Fighter IV. Had some fun playing that on the wii u tablet. So my question is what setting has anyone tried for best results? Stock settings have been decent so far for me.
My preference is to use an external powered hdd enclosure like the Seagate 4TB Game Drive. I swapped out the hdd for a smaller 1TB since I dont load all my game on it and use 128GB micro sd card for loadiine format games. I have tried with success using PNY 128GB USB stick but because of a power...
So excited for this! I have been messing with the settings but because of how my set up is I have a lot of signal interference causing moonlight to get bumped off in the middle of a game so I need a network adapter. But so far I have enjoyed Street Fighter IV and The Withcer 2 and 3 for some...
@demonfish You should disconnect all your drives when doing this with exception to your C: drive. I had to do that with my PC since it needed all available drive designations. Just disconnect to 2 CD-Rom drives. I did this for my son's Xbox One OG, my Xbox One SAD, and my Xbox One X each one now...
