Any passive card will get hot. My non-passive 8800GTX gets hot enough to actually burn my skin. Generally, as long as it doesn't get above 80 degrees Celsius, you're perfectly fine. The card won't actually damage itself until the 100's, though.
Whenever I select the homebrew channel from Bootmii (installed at Boot2) my TV loses signal and my Wiimote won't connect. Any idea what's wrong? A long time ago it used to work, but I don't remember what I did and when it stopped working.
A softmod is installing something on the Wii to make it work differently, like using Bannerbomb to install the Homebrew channel. A hardmod is actually taking apart the Wii and connecting a chip to it to allow you to play burnt-to-disc Wii games.
Starting after I installed CIOS 14.
I choose HBC but my TV just looses its signal from the Wii but the Wii is still on. Should I reinstall Bootmii, if that's possible?
I'm trying out Pokemon cheats and some of them say to check the thread for instructions. Where is that thread? I remember finding it once a long time ago but I can't find it anymore. D:
Hey, I'm trying to add .isos from my WBFS drive but whenever I click load on the drive it says "Can't read partition!" Why?
Nevermind, I figured out the problem. Can't use eSATA. xD Thanks for the awesome channel maker.
It's working for me so far, all you do is stick the SATA Hard drive in and it'll work pretty good. I'm using a Seagate Barracuda 250GB Hard Drive and a Samsung 40GB Hard Drive that came in my PS3. xD It has a power switch on it, so make sure you turn it off before you take a HDD out or put one...
OK, well, it's working with both a 2.5" and a 3.5" HDD. Sometimes I have to add the game twice in the WBFS Manager to get it to show up, though. So far no spin down issues.
