    TO have multiple saves you can also use the RTS function on the M3 (Real Time Save). There is an RTS 1 and RTS 2 so you can have those two saves going aswell as the one that it used for the actual game.

    It may be that the R4 firmware/hardware doesnt support 1024 mb save games in which case that may occur, it also may be the nintendo anti-piracy act, try the piracy-bypass cheat

    It obviously hasnt been updated in forever. plus it would be next to impossible to do an update because of all of the R4 clones and alternate Firmware that has come out. to many variables
