    I can't get it to patch. I followed the instructions but after clicking apply patch and waiting a few minutes, a Rom with _patch doesn't show up in the folder. Edit: Nevermind, found out where the patch went.

    Gaming Dragon Quest IX freezing

    Since I don't want to make a new thread about DQ9...I'm freezing at the cutscene where Catarrhina is dead at Coffinwell...I'm using Wood R4 1.11 and I'm pretty sure I'm using a patched rom. before I patched the rom, I was freezing after the intro battle with the cucumber and the slimes.

    I have tried checking the boot. but it doesn't seem to be the boot problem. Even ysmenu with no games on the card still reads that I need to upgrade the hardware to accommodate the firmware. I have absolutely no idea what is wrong with the card so I'll just tell the kid to get an acekard.

    it's got the basic files for r4i upgrade revolution: r4iMenu, music, moonshl2, moon memo folders and R4.dat. There's also a torrent file for some odd reason. and there's DEMON.SYS, DEMON0.SYS, SWRESET.SYS files. also some odd file called lameboy.nds. there are also the usual little kid nds...

    weird I downloaded the firmware from the official website (v 1.09b) and it still says that the card is fake when I load it. I'll give ds tt firmware a try. Anybody know what the problem is? since I went to r4i-sdhc.com and downloaded the official firmware from them but it still says it's fake.

    I downloaded 1.09 from linfox domain. but after I loaded the 1.09b firmware and turned on the ds, it told me it was a fake card. xD

    yes I have a backup copy of the past firmware. It's a R4i with no 1.4 sticker and it says (for ndsi/ndsl/nds). the kid was playing it on a ds lite.

    I'm trying to fix it for a kid who claims he deleted a file by accident and it refused to work after. So I checked the sd card, found nothing was wrong with it. so I reformat and update the firmware. When I turn on my ds, it tells me to "Please upgrade the hardware to support latest firmware."...

    I am currently stuck on running r4.bat. It keeps telling me this: An Error has occurred when extracting the necessary files. Please check if there is enough free disk space and if the program has access to the disk. wtf is going on and how do I fix it?

    RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?

    although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)

    @BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.

    If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.

    and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    @BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
