    Sorry, I meant to say I am using a USB Loader, I tried two games, Mario Kart Wii and Madworld. Both give me a disc error. "An error has occured, press eject ,, etc etc"

    i got a new dvd drive and have the power connected but the ribbon that plugs into it from the wii's motherboard wont fit in its proper connector. will it need to be connected or am i still going to to get disc read errors?

    Ok, I have the newest version of USB Loader GX. It's recognizing my HDD (fat32), including the storage space, however, it isn't showing any of the games I put on. I use OSX and used Wiijmanager to put the files on. Is it possible they are in the wrong location on the HDD? Do I need USB Loader GX...

    i wont have a problem putting games on the external usb HD, i just wanted to know if i can play them from it, not having my dvd drive anymore. About a year ago, i couldnt accomplish playing games because the wii's internal HD had to recognize the DVD Drive installed, which i no longer have.

    I am amazed at this information. I tried over 10+ games and only one worked for me ( madworld ). I had my drive out, and in. There is a short in my dvd drive it is receiving no power. Maybe i will have to give it another shot in the future

    I too have a broken dvd drive. About a month ago or so at this time, I was only able to get one game to run via USB Loader (Madworld), are you finding most games other than De Blob working for you? I constantly get the "Eject disk" error
