Homebrew [Release] freeShop - open source eShop alternative

Thanks for the explanations both of you. I've been using these two apps for a few weeks now and could not get rid of one of them, they are complementary. And don't be ashamed of the CIAngel UI, it's fast and easy to use ;)

Homebrew [Release] freeShop - open source eShop alternative

OK I understand now. You just forgot to tell me how often does the cache is updated, and if it can be triggered automatically (ie a change/new title is detected)? Also I only see Picross 3D 2 demo but not the full game. I'm just telling you because I was wondering if there is a problem with...

And you have to manually do that each time or is it automated (once per day/week)? As the titles are in the json maybe you could generate the cache directly on the console, so you don't have to maintain/host your cache?

Homebrew [Release] freeShop - open source eShop alternative

Ok so only updating the bin file is not enough to see new games on Freeshop. What is the cache purpose then? Edit: indeed I can see it now thanks, but only the demo.

Homebrew [Release] freeShop - open source eShop alternative

I've just downloaded the json and the bin versions 10 minutes ago. Picross 3D Round 2 is in the json, but not the bin (I used D.T.K. Takes Keys to view the bin, and also Shameless). Edit: but I know it's from the same source, so if there is a diff it's an error from their side, or maybe one is...

Homebrew [Release] freeShop - open source eShop alternative

I've got a quick question: why is FreeShop using "encTitleKeys.bin" instead of "json_enc"? I noticed that some newer titles (ie Picross 3D Round 2) are in the json version only. CIAngel is using the json version, so I could download it but it doesn't show in FreeShop, which is really better...

Tutorial AndroidPass, an alternative for the StreetPass Riilay

Hi again, I've upgraded my i9305 to Android 4.4.4, and as you can guess, AndroidPass is not working anymore. I still have the /efs/wifi/.mac.info changed by AndroidPass successfully. If I delete this file and reboot it's created automatically so I think this is the right method. But...

Tutorial AndroidPass, an alternative for the StreetPass Riilay

Hi Ismaw34, Thanks for your app, it's working well on my I9305 with Android 4.3. Just a note though : it would be great if your app could restore the original MAC address on closing, so we don't have to put it back manually. It's important for those who have MAC address filtering on their...

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

Yes, just flash one of the latest CM ROM (not the 4.4 though). Maybe you won't need to flash another kernel. Try without it before. I don't know why but on my phone the default CM kernel wouldn't allow me to change the MAC. Try some combinations of ROM/kernels. It may be tedious, but once...

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

Sorry to hear that you give up. If you really wan't to try one last time, I suggest you to flash another ROM : with CM10.1.3 + Boeffla kernel (with original CM kernel MAC could not be changed) it works great, although I can't be 100% sure it'll work as I've a i9305 and you a i9300. I'm...

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

I'm using this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer If you can't see it, maybe it's incompatible with your other device (of course, don't use it on the same phone using SP Riilay). If you have only 1 device, the terminal command will work fine, it's...

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

Busybox never worked for me : there is no error but the MAC is never changed. To check it I use on another android device the app "Wifi Analyser" to see the mac address.

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

Hi Zurce, First of all, thank you for you app! I've got a Galaxy SIII LTE (I9305) with 4.3 ROM and none of your methods are working. In this ROM there is a new path to change the MAC address: "/efs/wifi/.mac.info". Could you add this new path please? Also, I don't know if it's a bug or...
