Things you recently bought or got

Got my Gameboy Player. Now if only CBSA would stop holding onto my ETH2SP1 adapter, you literally don't need to inspect something for a full week.

Any chance the GameCube is going to see a port as well? Its easy to get a GameCube online nowadays.

Xbox to offer digital licences with physical disc purchases

People tried with the Forza games and it doesn't work, really hope it does in the future. Horizon 3 in particular would be huge because of Xbox Play Anywhere because of its PC port.

Pre-orders open for the XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection

Meh, could care less for the console. Only preordered the controller because I like grabbing the anniversary controllers. So far I have the 20th Anniversary Dualshock 4, the 20th Anniversary Xbox Controller, the 30th Anniversary Dualsense and soon the 25th Anniversary Xbox Controller...

I don't know how to upgrade the memory on my Mid-2007 MacBook.

Seal making contact? The arm that lets you pull the RAM out should give you resistance when the RAM stick goes in all the way.

I don't know how to upgrade the memory on my Mid-2007 MacBook.

If it doesn't click in then you're slotting in wrong. I have one of those MacBook and if the RAM stick doesn't go in? Then you're trying to install it upside down.

I don't know how to upgrade the memory on my Mid-2007 MacBook.

Listening to AI was your main issue. If the RAM stick doesn't go in at all, turn it around. It should quite literally just latch into the slot.

Good grief... I feel like CBSA is inspecting every packages I'm getting from China. The customs declaration is approved but once the package comes into Canada? Inspection. Almost feels like my packages are Wreck-It Ralph who's always getting random checked by Surge Protector.

Things you recently bought or got

Barrel jack to USB-C cables for the SNES and model 1 Genesis. I'm planning on grabbing RGBS cables for the SNES which may come in handy in the future once I get my N64 modded for RGB output. Also planning on grabbing a SCART cable for the Genesis and a VGA cable for the Dreamcast. HDMI adapters...

I felt the same way when i saw the Steven Universe not LEGO sets at the dollar store a few years ago. Building the sets is fun! Finding a place to put the finished build? Harder than it seems!

Things you recently bought or got

Finally got my GCMCE in the mail. I guess all I'm missing at this point is my ETH2SP1 to come in, getting a set of GameCube component cable from BitFunx and getting a GameBoy Player to have a solid GameCube setup.

Huh! I wonder if the new cart will enable support for gyro and rumble for the few DS games that supports those features?

Am I the only one that finds it wild that people are still talking about emulating the PS1 on the N64? Only way that would even happen is through ports created with a decompilation.

Things you recently bought or got

Somehow snagged an OEM GBA to GC link cable for 20 bucks. Also bought an ETH2SP1 on AliExpress to get the Ethernet port on my GameCube, I hear there's rom hacks that allows Kirby Air Ride and MKDD to be playable online. Might also try out PSO as I have NEVER played PSO at all.

Hardware I want to try and give Nintendo 64 a fair chance at gaming.

Honestly I'd say get a GBS-C Pro for S-Video. Unless you have a CRT with a S-Video input, the GBS-C Pro is more than worth the money when it comes to composite, S-Video and component inputs on modern displays.

    Things you have fixed/modded recently

Reshelled the 30$ GameCube, put a Picoloader and SD2SP2 Pro adapter, I also did a half reshell on the controller I repaired. Just gotta find a GameBoy Player now.

Okay is there even a cheat database for Swiss that won't require me to grab everything one by one for all the games I have? Like I'm talking about a database for all Gamecube games, so I can enable 16:9 cheats for the games I'm putting on my SD card.

    Things you have fixed/modded recently

The Gamecube I got for 30$ actually works despite the amount of rust in it. Put a drive that has a botched XenoGC install on it, one of the pads is clearly not properly soldered so it can't patch the drive, I'm putting a Picoloader in it anyway so I couldn't care less for the Xeno chip.
