Witnessmenow, When using 4.2 firmware make sure you aren't trying to run bannerbomb from "Settings, Data Management, Channels, SD Card", you must run it from the SD Card menu (click the SD card icon on the main system menu). Sincerely, Jeffery Stone

    Hacking Preloader 0.28, finally out!

Problem solved with following error: Ran hic_03.zip in virtual machine (thanks for the suggestion, blitzxp) to create hacks.ini Preloader .28 must be more picky than .27 with CR/LF as I'm using Ubuntu - verified that there was only LF (no CR) in the file. A workaround to resolve this is to...

    Hacking Preloader 0.28, finally out!

    Hacking I loaded preloader twice!?

Installing Preloader multiple times will not mess anything up. It will detect that there was a previous version and overwrite it with the newer version. It is a good idea to run the hacks remover wad before reinstalling Preloader. Sincerely, jefferystone

    Hacking RiiskiMod 1.0

My LCD TV does handle PAL. Seems that Kororinpa doesn't have NTSC video support because when I forced to NTSC in Gamma it hung at a green screen. When forcing to PAL or not forcing, my resolution was showed to 576i. I went back and reread the beginning pages of the thread and it looks like...

    Hacking RiiskiMod 1.0

I have read all the posts on this thread and the "System Menu questions/thoughts" thread which led up to to this one. I have successfully installed RiiskiMod 1.0 (also added move disc channel to hacks.ini - works fine) on NTSC Wii. I have two comments/questions: 1. All of my NTSC games...

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
