    They say that because they don't want you to use one, because it kinda goes against their interests. I don't think anyone's had problems like that though, never heard of it. My question: I heard the C-Gear doesn't crash on Acekard, can anyone confirm this (for any flashcard really)?

    I don't think they're in, but what version are you playing? Because in Black, you can actually buy them in Black City (east of Hiun, post-clear).

    Thanks; I'm using a phat DS anyway, so the DSi functionality didn't really matter much for me anyway. In that case I guess I can just give the actual cartridge to someone else or whatever, as paying $30 for an adapter just to transfer the save file doesn't make too much sense then. >_>

I've got a question myself as well; I'm 50+ hours in the game (R4), and now my actual copy arrived, only for me to fail transferring the save. I'm currently wondering if I should just stick with the rom rather then replaying the game again...

    As above, I'm getting blank screens when booting the game whatever I do (Bahamut release, R4, tried multiple firmwares and patches). Kinda losing hope, I've tried all the advice I could find, both Japanese and English. :/

    The hunting would be playable in Japanese, but figuring out the ingredients for specific gear will not, which will sooner or later become a big problem. You should pick up MH:Unite, for the PSP -- only just came out in English.

    Thanks! I got a clean copy, put it on a new SD card, and installed IOS 56. Ironically, I think the actual issue was file corruption (hence using a new card is probably what did it for me). On another note, I found some info on in-game codes (distributed in Japan through the usual magazine deals)...
