    Homebrew Emulating Xenoblade with Dolphin

Sigh. I'm gonna kick myself. I figured it out and it makes me feel like an idiot but maybe I should just leave it sitting around for a while just in case anyone else ever encounters the same problem. Forgot that ZL/ZR are the buttons in back and L/R are the buttons in the front. Didn't even...

    Homebrew Emulating Xenoblade with Dolphin

Hi guys I got an itching to play Xenoblade again, but since I have a computer capable of emulating it now with HD textures, I'm doing that instead of playing it on my Wii. I'm playing it with an XBox360 controller. Everything is working perfectly fine except for one detail: My left and right...

ROM Hack Pokemon HGSS Anti-Piracy Patch

For everyone having this problem: It's looking for a specifically named file (that is, the .nds file needs to have a very specific name). If you read the entire command prompt you'll see what it has to be named. It's just like how it worked with the Japanese versions of the games. I can't tell...

ROM Hack Pokemon HGSS Anti-Piracy Patch

It trims the unused data from the end of the ROM.

DS #4215: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (USA)

Odd. The numbering seems to be different for this one depending on where you look.

ROM Hack An idea for Chrono Trigger DS (JP). . .

I was under the impression that we were referring to the fanmade sequel that was at 97% completion, not the 3d remake. This kind of code isn't really necessary, but I just thought it would be kinda neat. It already happens in a few dungeons in the game, so I figured that it may be possible. If...

    ROM Hack HELP!!!!

To me, it almost sounds like you should be dragging and dropping the nds file itself onto the exe. Just a guess, though.

ROM Hack An idea for Chrono Trigger DS (JP). . .

Hey guise. While playing Chrono Trigger earlier, I realized that there are a few particular points in the game where it would be neat to just use the background music of an area as battle music (like what happens in Magus's Castle, the Ocean Palace and the Black Omen). Would it be at all...

Gaming The NEW massive CHEAT compilation thread.

Yeah, you're right. I can't remember things like that off the top of my head, so thanks for the correction. Hopefully the guy will be able to figure out his problem. It took me a little while to figure out, too, and I'm running the same stuff.

Yes. There's a usercheats.evo file that you can just put in the CycloDS folder of your SD card. When you turn on your Cyclo after that, make sure to enable cheats, then when you play Chrono Trigger, you'll be prompted to use cheats (and you should say yes). When you get into the game, hit ABXYLR...

My Cyclo is telling me that cheat codes are enabled now, so it will work. I don't know why it disabled them before even though I enabled them, but that's cool, I figured it out now. Now I'm going to lay around and not sleep just to play it.

Yes, I saw, and that's the problem that I'm describing in #3. The problem was that it looks like it disables my use of cheatcodes despite the fact that I enabled them, and I'm not sure why.

I'm having a few interesting problems with my Cyclo: 1) If I patch it myself with DSATM, the filesize drops to about 85MB. If I try loading it up on my Cyclo, it doesn't work. 2) If I use BelmontSlayer's neat little patch thing and try loading that up on my Cyclo, it doesn't work either. The...

Gaming The NEW massive CHEAT compilation thread.

I sort of assumed I was just supposed to copy and paste the code into a text file and then load the ROM up in DSATM, along with the textfile with the cheat in it, and then just let it patch, but it didn't load on my Cyclo. I'm not sure how to patch properly with DSATM, either. And the filesize...

DS #2949: Chrono Trigger DS (Japan)

Yeah, or he's actually trying to make sure that it works completely so that when he goes to bed he doesn't have to wake up to a bunch of whiny people complaining about how they got stuck somewhere else.

DS #2949: Chrono Trigger DS (Japan)

That's definitely awesome. I've been procrastinating on my AC analysis homework all day to just screw around, and this will just give me more incentive not to do it.
