    I returned the 2DS. I tried to downgrade using the system transfer method and SUDOKU but I must have screwed something up because SUDOKU was recognized as installed but not showing on the home screen so I couldn't launch it.

    I'm using a Transcend TS-RDP8K (ALCOR AU6476) and the card reader from my laptop. The one from my laptop worked on an old 3ds.

    This explains why I wasn't able to hardmod a new 2DS which also had no silkscreen. This was a 2DS from the Yo-kai watch bundle which also came with 11.0.33 EUR.

    Not sure about the updating but it doesn't matter if you do it on emunand. And yes if you do it on emunand it will remove the apps from emunand but I don't think it will remove them from sysnand.

    I did it a few hours ago. I formatted the emunand through the settings and everything worked fine after that.

    It's because the 3ds data on the sd card is shared. You will have to format either your sysnand or emunand via the settings so it will create a different folder.

    Not so much the support but it's hard to change ~10 million pixels in a few milliseconds. More expensive 4K screen might be better though.
