    You need the GBA expansion. I got my M3's from ozmodchips.com, I dunno if they have just the expansion, but I suspect they probably can arrange it if you mail them or something, they've always done well by me.

    If you follow the posted guide, 4.2 is just fine. You don't want to blindly update to it, but then, if you are a modder you know not to blindly update to thinks. But I and many run 4.2 with no issues at all, following the posted guide.

    Quick question: I have an up to date softmodded wii, with bootmii installed on boot2. But I don't get the menu for bootmii every time; maybe half the time, and usually only when the Wii itself has been off for a while. Is that normal, or did I do something wrong?

    So have you actually tried it? I have yet to get this feature to work in Platinum. It works just fine in Diamond and Pearl, but NOT Platinum. It's well and good to say 'They put in game link for this', but that hardly means it is perfect.

    The newest firmwares don't need anything special done to work fine, so try to get an unpatched ROM. The cheats won't wok on a rom that's been patched for the copy protection, and the patch is no longer an issue.
