So I found a workaround for this by putting the usb loader files on an SD card, then just using the usb drive for the games. Not ideal as I still don't know why the wii isn't picking up the HDD initially, but it'll do for now.

What are your options? Price range?
Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me with a small issue I'm having. I've currently got a 1tb HDD connected to my wii running fine with cfg usb loader. I'm giving this HDD away so I've copied the contents of my backup partition to a partition on another HDD. The new paritition in question...
No doubt this has been mentioned somewhere, but I've searched and can't find anything recent.
After about a year of inactivity, the DSLibris project has become active again and is now at version 1.4.8. There was nothing done with this nice piece of homebrew from June '08 (v.1.3 beta 193) until...
Doh! Wish I'd known before installing it!
Ah well, I'll just have to limit myself to mario and luigi now. Hopefully they'll release a fix pretty quickly.
Last time DX tried to sell the Cyclo they couldn't meet the demand - something to do with a dispute between them and the suppliers, though I think team cyclops said they were talking rubbish!
Anyway, all orders were cancelled back then. It seems to be a bit more pricey this time, so maybe it's...
Sorry for asking, I've had a thorough search and can't find the answer I'm after.
After softmodding a wii (firmware 3.2E I think, maybe 3.3) using the wii softmodding for dummies v4.1 (http://www.scribd.com/doc/18050412/Wii-Soft-Mod-Ding-for-Dummies-v41), I was wondering if it's possible (or...
Cheers for that link ChuckMcB - I teach computing and reckon some DS (or even GBA) programming might be good for some of the more advanced students I have.
Gonna have a play around over the summer and see if I can get something useful running.
This GBA tut looks very good, maybe you should...
You definitely can't go wrong with sandisk, it's all I've ever used and I've never had a single problem.
That's not to say the Toshiba's are no good though.
Alright folks.
Just procured this for myself, seems to install ok, but when I try to launch it the wii resets and goes back to the system menu. Any ideas?
Viva Pinata is good, as is animal crossing. Basically play your own games, then compare/visit/swap stuff etc.. Turnip price trading is good.
Enjoyed playing these games at the same time as my missus.
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
