Hacking Wii system memory is full

Hey, self bump again. I want to share the good news, though! I've finally fixed it! Thank you Giantpune for your incredible tools. I used your nandBinCheck and was able to locate and fix the issue. It was a bad HMAC for "/meta/00000001/00000101/title.met". I've traced that to be the Gamecube IOS...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Woah, I don't really like to self bump, but with this kind of progress, I feel like I'm getting close, so I really need some help, I've been trying to solve things by myself, but I still have the problem

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Well, great news! I was able to run smashstacks and everything through DiscSwap and installed bootmii as boot2 (luckly my Wii is one of the first) and HBC! Now I may need some help on how to proceed to recover it, I'm making a NAND Dump right now, strangely, it's says that I have 1922MB of free...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Ok, autoboot Mario Kart Wii disc worked, that's some progress. I'll see what I can do with it now Edit: Nothing. I'll try a scrubbed Dora that I found, or I'll have to look harder for a Castlevania or something. I'll keep you guys updated Edit2: No luck with that, too, I'll have to find those...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Well, opening my Wii certainly was a challenge, good thing it's pretty old, I did some unspeakable things. But unfortunately, there's no switch there. I guess I'll have to buy some dual layered DVDs now and try the Mario Kart PWNs method with SSBB PAL, which I think it won't work, cause I don't...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

I guess that Wiikey 1 has autoboot, but I get into the recovery mode, put SSBB and the menu version disappears, but after that, nothing happens. I don't really know what to do to make it autoboot.

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Kinda retarded question, so please bear with me. I have an official copy of SSBB, is there any way to set it to autoboot or do I have to download an ISO, change it to autoboot through some programs and burn it in a dual layered DVD?

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Maitenance Mode doesn't make any difference. I can get into recovery mode, but none of the "autoboot" discs work (maybe I'm getting bad ones?) So now, I'm looking for the Last Chance Unbrick Disk v3, to see if it makes any difference.

Hacking Wii system memory is full

If, by chance, I did have BootMii installed (don't know if it's boot2 or IOS), but no NAND backup, how would I be able to solve this? Edit: Meh, just confirmed I don't have boot2 and I am unlikely to have IOS, so I guess I'm screwed

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Got to recovery menu, but nothing happens. Tried loading a lot of games, the system version on the right side do disappear, but the games never load. I guess I'm stuck until Nintendo releases a new firmware version...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Like I said, my Wii version is 4.3U and I just formatted, so I don't have any channel or any save file on it, and it still shows "Open Blocks: 0". I guess that the recovery mode is my only option, but from what I've read, I have to open a GC controller or something?

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Ok, thanks for your time anyway :) I forgot to add 2 bizarre things. One is that I suddenly had a Tomb Raider Collection Savedata (I've never even played the game), another is that I had a savedata just named "English" made by "English", very bizarre, the icon was just a bunch of colors...

Hacking Wii system memory is full

I can only access System Settings and Memory Data (Channels and savegames). Anything on the Wii Menu (Mails and Channels) are out of question, because there's a pop up message that redirects me to system settings automatically

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Unfortunately, no, I never thought I would have this kind of problem since I never tweaked too much with my Wii's important files.

Hacking Wii system memory is full

Ok so, I was playing my Wii yesterday and it was fine. Last games I played were Sonic and the Secret Rings and Kirby's Return to Dreamland, both original copies. My Wii is kinda old, had to change de disc reader once and it has an old Wiikey modchip. I had Homebrew channel installed for quite a...

Hardware Strange problem with my Wii...

Well...I thought about that, but then GC games and Tatsunoko vs Capcom are working, so I don't quite understand how it can be dead... (Especially TvC that has a big roll of movies to load, Opening, Endings and stuff, and it all works properly.)

Hardware Strange problem with my Wii...

Anybody? I really need some help/opinions before I try any "alternative" repairing. Just for information, I never installed homebrew channel or anything related to it

Hardware Strange problem with my Wii...

My Wii was working just fine since Thursday, when I downloaded Punch-Out. It loaded and played right for almost the entire day, when, suddenly, it stopped working and not only Punch Out, all games stopped working (even originals). Strangely, Gamecube games, both backups and originals, play just...
