My major motivation in getting homebrew running on my N3DSXL was so that I could once again play my DS games despite the loss of the cart slot. I'm set up, I'm good to go, and I tried the recommended twloader+nds-bootstrap setup. This also starts up just fine and has no problems finding images...
So I'm just starting out in the magical world of 3DS. A friend bought me a N3DS XL, I grabbed a Sky3DS after many fruitless days of searching for a 9.2 to use with Gateway, and I snagged a couple of bigger micro SD cards for the system itself and the cart.
