    Hacking resurrecting an R4?

My DS lite is no longer recognizing my R4 (PCB pix in gbatemp.net/threads/r4-ds-review.41279) "No DS card". The SD card is still readable. It's probably been at least a year since I played. Any suggestions on bringing it back to life? If there's no hope of recovery, any suggestions for an...

Homebrew Lone Wolf : Flight From The Dark stuck on Loading-Please Wait

What magic spell do I need to cast to get this to work? I have an R4 1:1 clone running Wood 1.48. I extracted the file to the root of the microSD and when I run it it gives the sideways "Loading-Please Wait..." but that's it. I've tried patching it with DLDIrc & r4tf.dldi, but it didn't do...

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
